I came across an adorable Easter Bunny Color Match activity from Toddler Approved and I knew it would be perfect for our sticky wall (Click the link to see the activity). Unfortunately, Easter is over so I tweaked it to make it more Spring related.
I used flower frame clip art from Krista Wallden and added the corresponding color words to the centers. I printed 2 color copies on card stock and attached one set to the back (not sticky side) of a sheet of contact paper. Next, peel of the paper and tape contact paper, sticky side out, to a wall, window, or easel. I provided Little Guy with the second set of flowers and encouraged him to try to match the colors. The color matching was a bit over his head, but he had fun sticking them to the paper and we got to practice color words.
If you would like to try this activity, you can print the flowers with color words FREE in my
