Five for Friday {October 17, 2014}

I'm joining Doodle Bugs Teaching for another Five for Friday link up!
{Brought to you by the letter Pp.... for pumpkins!}

 I'm so excited the weather cooperated and we were able to go to the pumpkin farm!

Little guy loved running around exploring the pumpkins and checking out the animals, he even fed a goat!  Brave boy!

"Pumpkins" were also the theme of this weeks "Thematic Thursday" from Comprehension Connection!

Best Books:  "Spookley the Square Pumpkin", "It's Pumpkin Day, Mouse" and "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything", I know it's not a true pumpkin theme book, but it is amazing and I had to include it as one of my Best Books!

Activities: Painting pumpkins, Pumpkin Patch Dramatic Play, and Pumpkin Exploration (math & science)
To learn more about these activities, check out my throwback post, Happy Pumpkin Day!

My Pumpkin Theme MEGA Literacy & Math Pack is marked down in my TPT store until tomorrow morning!  Perfect for centers and small groups!

While you're visiting my TPT store, don't forget to download my Pumpkin Patch Dramatic Play FREEBIE!  You can see pictures of it in use by clicking the link "Happy Pumpkin Day" above!

I made this quick sensory activity for Little Guy one rainy afternoon.  I drew a pumpkin on a ziplock baggie, and added a white piece of cardstock and orange paint to the bag.  I zipped it closed,  used packing tape to seal it shut, and let the little guy have at it!
(** It would probably be better to draw your design on the paper inside the bag, the permanent marker did rub off of the baggie a little!)
